Okendo vs Yorum Kiti: Review Marketing Platform or Focused Free Photo Reviews?

Compare Okendo and Yorum Kiti across current pricing, review requests, photo and video UGC, moderation, integrations, Shop syndication, migration and day-to-day workload.

All ShopRadar apps featured in this guide are available in English.

Okendo and Yorum Kiti can both put customer reviews on a Shopify product page, but they are built for very different operating models. Okendo is a broad community-marketing platform whose current Shopify listing spans Reviews, Loyalty, Surveys, Quizzes and Referrals. Its review product includes automated request emails, photo and video UGC, rich display options, rewards, integrations, migration tools and syndication. Yorum Kiti is deliberately narrower: star rating, title, text, up to three photos, merchant approval and a product-page review list, with review photos stored in the merchant's Shopify Files.

Yorum Kiti is available in English. Its current public Shopify App Store language metadata still shows Turkish on some surfaces, so ShopRadar treats that as a live listing-metadata mismatch rather than evidence that the Turkish brand name limits the software to Turkish merchants. Yorum Kiti is currently free, and the owner confirms there is no paid plan. That current status should not be turned into a promise about pricing forever.

Quick verdict: choose Okendo for a review program, Yorum Kiti for a focused proof layer

Choose Okendo when collecting and distributing reviews is an ongoing marketing operation. Its current official listing includes automated review-request emails, photo and video reviews, review rewards, grouping, moderation, rich snippets, imports and exports, migration, syndication and a large integration surface. Higher current tiers add capabilities such as AI review summaries, Q&A, TikTok Shop integration, review campaigns, advanced reporting and email or SMS integrations.

Choose Yorum Kiti when the job is intentionally smaller: let shoppers submit a rating, title, written review and up to three photos, approve or reject every submission before it appears, and show approved reviews on the product page. That is a strong fit for a merchant who wants credible photo proof but does not need a full review-request, loyalty, syndication and integration system.

Do not call Yorum Kiti a feature-for-feature Okendo replacement. It is the better recommendation only when its smaller scope matches the store's actual workflow. A cheaper tool that removes a capability the business depends on is not cheaper in practice.

Current pricing: Okendo scales by monthly order capacity, Yorum Kiti does not have a paid plan today

Okendo's current Shopify App Store listing shows a Free plan for up to 50 orders per month. The listing currently includes automated review-request emails, the Smart Review Form, Review Rewards Engine, review displays, Google SEO snippets, review grouping and review moderation on that plan. This is a real free plan, not a trial, but it has an order-volume ceiling.

The current Essential plan is $19 per month or $204 per year for up to 200 orders per month and includes everything in Free. Growth is currently $119 per month or $1,308 per year for up to 1,500 orders per month and lists AI review summaries, AI review keywords, TikTok Shop integration and Q&A among its additions. Power is currently $299 per month or $3,288 per year for up to 3,500 orders per month and lists review campaigns, an advanced CSS editor, email and SMS integrations, advanced reporting and managed onboarding. The paid tiers currently show a 14-day free trial.

Yorum Kiti's current official listing shows Free, and the owner confirms there is no paid plan. That does not mean it includes Okendo's paid-tier breadth. It means a merchant whose requirement is the focused review form, photo submissions, approval and product-page display can currently run that workflow without a subscription. Compare required jobs before comparing plan prices.

Review collection is the biggest functional dividing line

Okendo is designed to ask customers for reviews after purchase. Its current App Store listing includes email requests, SMS requests, forms, surveys, promotions, referrals, automations and custom requests among its collection methods. Okendo's current documentation also says its In-Mail review format is available on all Reviews plans, including Free, and can let customers submit rating, text and configured attributes directly from supported inboxes before a follow-up form handles optional media.

Yorum Kiti's current public listing documents a product-page review form. It does not currently advertise automated post-purchase review-request email or SMS sequences. That boundary matters. A merchant who expects the review app to generate collection volume through lifecycle messaging should not assume Yorum Kiti performs that job.

For a new store with a small customer base, the simpler form can be enough if the merchant already has natural ways to send customers back to product pages. For a store shipping hundreds or thousands of orders and trying to systematically request feedback after fulfilment, Okendo's collection machinery is a materially different product capability.

Photo and video UGC: Okendo goes broader, Yorum Kiti stays photo-focused

Okendo's current listing documents both photo and video reviews, media galleries, carousels, grids, highlights and several other display formats. That breadth matters when customer video is part of the merchandising plan or when a brand wants multiple storefront presentations for the same review library.

Yorum Kiti currently documents up to three photos per review. For many purchase decisions, static photos are enough: a lamp in a real living room, the scale of a storage box, packaging condition, a handmade product outside studio lighting or a bag next to everyday objects. The smaller media model can still solve a valuable proof problem without pretending to be a video-UGC suite.

If video reviews are a hard requirement, Okendo has the stronger documented fit. If photos are sufficient and the team prefers a simple approval-first workflow, Yorum Kiti can cover the narrower job without a paid plan today.

Moderation: Okendo supports a flexible queue, while Yorum Kiti is approval-first

Okendo's current moderation documentation separates reviews into Pending, Published and Rejected states. Merchants can publish or reject reviews, reply to them, hide individual media and use auto-publish controls. The same documentation distinguishes verified buyers, verified reviewers and unverified reviewers. It also states that reviews cannot be deleted from Okendo and cannot normally be edited, with profanity censoring handled through moderation settings rather than rewriting customer text.

Yorum Kiti uses a simpler default: every submission remains invisible until the merchant approves it. The current listing explicitly says merchants can approve or reject each review before it appears. That is useful for a small team that wants every photo and comment inspected before publication, but it also creates a manual queue that someone must actually manage.

Neither workflow excuses selective suppression of legitimate negative feedback. Define a moderation policy around spam, abusive material, personal information, irrelevant uploads and genuine product criticism. The software can enforce states; the merchant still decides whether the review program is credible.

Syndication and integrations can justify Okendo before extra widgets do

Okendo's current Shopify listing names integrations with Shop, TikTok, Google, Klaviyo and many other third-party tools. Its current Help Center documents two-way review syncing with the Shop app. That can matter when reviews need to travel beyond one product-page widget and become part of a broader retention or marketplace workflow.

There are real boundaries inside that promise. Okendo's Shop documentation says reviews coming from the Shop app cannot be moderated in Okendo under Shopify's rules. It also notes that not every Okendo review necessarily appears in Shop because Shop applies its own product-review policies, and syndicated reviews can be treated differently. Integration labels should therefore be evaluated at the workflow level, not as a guarantee that every review appears everywhere.

Yorum Kiti's current public listing focuses on product-page collection, moderation and display and does not advertise a comparable syndication or marketing-integration ecosystem. If your team already has defined Klaviyo, Shop, TikTok or multi-store review workflows, Okendo's ecosystem can be the more important capability. If those workflows do not exist, paying for breadth merely because it is available can create administration without solving a current problem.

Migration: Okendo documents import tooling; verify the destination before leaving it

Okendo's current import documentation says its importer can automatically detect exports from Yotpo, Stamped, Loox, Junip, Shopify, Trustpilot, Judge.me, Kudo Buzz, Social Shopwave and Orankl. Other sources can use Okendo's import-template CSV. The template supports fields for rating, review body, product identifiers, photos, videos, approval status, verification status and other review metadata.

Media migration has a practical requirement: Okendo says photos and videos must be reachable through public URLs during import. Its documentation recommends Shopify Files as one possible host and says the source media no longer needs to remain externally hosted after a successful import. That is a much more concrete migration path than a generic 'imports supported' label.

Yorum Kiti's current direct App Store listing does not document a historical-review importer. Do not infer one from category filters or stale snippets. If you are moving from Okendo to Yorum Kiti, export and archive the current review library first, list every field and media item that must survive, and confirm the destination's current import capability before uninstalling Okendo or removing its storefront widgets.

Storage and ownership create different operational models

Yorum Kiti's current listing says submitted review photos are stored in the merchant's Shopify Files and served from Shopify's CDN rather than a separate third-party photo server. That is a concrete product characteristic, but it should not be stretched into a legal promise about data portability, retention or privacy. Those questions still depend on Shopify behavior, the app's privacy terms and the merchant's own obligations.

Okendo operates a broader review platform with its own review database, moderation states, imports, syndication and media workflows. Its migration documentation describes moving review records and media into that system. For a team that needs sophisticated review operations, that central platform model is useful. For a merchant who values a small storefront proof layer and Shopify-hosted review photos, Yorum Kiti's simpler operating model may be easier to understand.

Four merchant scenarios make the decision clearer

Scenario one: a small home-goods store has 35 orders per month and mainly wants star ratings, written feedback and customer photos on product pages. The owner is comfortable approving every submission and does not need automated review requests. Yorum Kiti is the stronger fit because the focused workflow matches the requirement and is currently free with no paid plan.

Scenario two: a growing skincare brand ships 600 orders per month and wants automated review requests, video UGC, Q&A, review rewards and integrations with its retention stack. Okendo's Growth tier currently covers up to 1,500 orders per month and lists Q&A and additional AI and TikTok features. The merchant should still confirm every needed integration and feature at purchase time, but the broader platform is much closer to the stated workflow.

Scenario three: a brand has years of reviews in Judge.me and wants to preserve them during a platform change. Okendo documents direct detection for Judge.me exports plus a template route for other sources, so it has the stronger documented inbound-migration story. A switch in the opposite direction requires confirming Yorum Kiti's current import support before removing Okendo.

Scenario four: a founder keeps adding software because each app promises another retention feature, but the store's actual gap is simply that product pages have no customer proof. Yorum Kiti is the cleaner first move. If review volume later becomes a lifecycle-marketing project, the merchant can then evaluate whether Okendo's automation, media, rewards and integrations justify the larger system.

A safe migration checklist prevents the comparison from becoming a data-loss exercise

Before changing review apps, export the incumbent review library and keep an untouched backup. Record ratings, text, titles, customer identifiers where appropriate, verification state, product mappings, replies, photos, videos and publication status. A successful import of review text is not automatically a successful migration of every field.

Then test a representative group before changing the whole storefront. Include a product with many reviews, a product with variants, a product that was renamed, reviews with photos, any video review you need to preserve and a review whose verification status matters. Inspect both the admin record and the customer-facing widget.

Only after data and storefront presentation are verified should you remove the old widget. Avoid running two competing review sections on the same product page for an extended period. If both apps must coexist temporarily, give the overlap an explicit migration deadline rather than letting duplicate proof become the permanent design.

Decision checklist: pay for the workflow you will actually operate

Choose Okendo first if automated post-purchase review requests are central, video UGC matters, you need a documented import route, Shop or other integrations are part of the plan, review rewards are intentional, or your team wants the broader Reviews, Loyalty, Surveys, Quizzes and Referrals platform around the review program. Match the plan to current monthly order volume and the exact features you need, not to a hypothetical future store.

Choose Yorum Kiti first if the requirement is star ratings, written reviews, up to three photos, explicit merchant approval and a product-page review list. Yorum Kiti is available in English. It is currently free, and the owner confirms there is no paid plan. The authentic Shopify App Store slug is `yorum-kiti`; ShopRadar's app CTA requests the English listing locale without claiming that the URL changes the installed app's language settings.

If you cannot describe the review workflow in one page, write it before installing anything: who asks for the review, where the shopper submits it, which media matter, who moderates, what historical data must move, where reviews need to appear, and which other systems need the review data. The right product becomes much easier to identify once those jobs are explicit.

  • Need automated review-request emails: Okendo.
  • Need photo and video UGC: Okendo has the broader documented media workflow.
  • Need Shop review syndication or a large integration ecosystem: evaluate Okendo.
  • Need documented inbound review migration: Okendo has the stronger public tooling.
  • Need a focused photo-review form with manual approval: Yorum Kiti.
  • Need that focused review layer with no paid plan today: Yorum Kiti.

Bottom line: Okendo expands the review operation; Yorum Kiti strips it back

Okendo is the stronger product when reviews need to become a system: automated collection, richer UGC, rewards, syndication, migration, integrations and adjacent community-marketing tools. Its free plan can handle a small store, but current paid pricing rises with monthly order capacity and feature needs. That cost can be justified when the broader workflows are real and actively used.

Yorum Kiti is our recommendation when the store does not need that machinery. Available in English, it focuses on the product-page proof layer: stars, text, up to three customer photos, approval and display. Because it is currently free and the owner confirms there is no paid plan, a merchant can keep the review stack deliberately small until a more complex review operation is actually necessary.
