We built ScratchCart: exit-intent scratch card that applies the discount for you

Full disclosure before anything else: we build apps as well as compare them, and ScratchCart is ours. It is marked as ours everywhere it appears on the site. Here is what it does and who should not bother.

The gap we built it for: recovery email only works on shoppers who already gave you an address. Everyone else leaves and you never hear from them. ScratchCart works on that traffic, in the seconds before the tab closes.

How it works:
- Triggers on exit intent or on inactivity, while the cart is still full
- Shopper scratches, a real discount is revealed, and it lands in the cart automatically — no code to copy, no second step
- Each code is single-use and time-limited, so it cannot end up on a coupon site
- Per-session limits, so regulars are not hit with it every visit
- Flat discount, free shipping or cart discount
- Dashboard matches recovered carts against real orders, not popup impressions

Do not install it if: your brand sits far enough upmarket that any discount overlay cheapens it. Work on trust and shipping instead — we say the same thing on the category page.
