Anyone using an SEO app that does more than rewrite meta tags?

I manage a couple of client stores. Most "SEO apps" I've tried are glorified meta tag editors with a scary red score to make you upgrade.

What I actually want: broken link detection with auto-redirects, JSON-LD that doesn't duplicate the theme's, and image compression that keeps a backup. Bonus if it doesn't inject a 300kb script into the storefront.

Am I asking for too much from one app?

Not too much. The mid-price one in the SEO category here does all three. On the duplicate JSON-LD: it has a toggle to disable the theme's structured data, or you can disable the app's and keep the theme's — Dawn's is decent. Just don't run both, Google gets confused.

Script weight: the compression runs server-side so nothing in the storefront. The broken link scanner adds nothing either. Only the "SEO score" widget adds JS and you can turn it off.

That's the toggle I needed to know about. Thanks.
